McCulloch 16'' Bar and 3/8'' Chain Combo

The bar in this package suits the below McCulloch chainsaws running 3/8" pitch and .050'' gauge chain:

Our guarantee on the models listed above: if this bar does not oil on one of those saws, we will take it back at our cost. To check before you order, look at your old bar: it should have a separate round oil hole beside the stud slot. If its chain-adjuster slots are long open ovals with no separate oil hole, your saw oils through the adjuster slot and this bar will not oil on it.

DOES NOT SUIT, please do not order for these saws: McCulloch 10 series (1-10, 2-10, 3-10, 4-10, 5-10, 6-10, 7-10, 10-10, Pro 10-10A) and Pro Mac 600/800 series (605, 610, 620, 650, 655, 700, 800, 805, 850). These saws feed bar oil through the top chain-adjuster slot. This bar has a separate oil hole and closed adjuster slots, so it bolts on but will not oil. We do not currently stock a bar for these models, and the guarantee above does not apply to them.

WARRANTY OVERVIEW

Jono & Johno offers a 12-month warranty on most products.

We pride ourselves on selling good quality gear and will be fair and prompt in honouring our warranties. If you’re in trouble, we’ll help you out.

WHAT IS COVERED?

The exact warranty coverage depends on two factors:

Whether the fault is due to user error or a manufacturer defect
Whether the fault is minor or major

Minor faults caused by the user

Parts will be supplied for repair at the user's expense.

Minor faults caused by the manufacturer

Customers are expected to perform basic repairs as part of our warranty process.
Jono & Johno will provide replacement parts and instructions for simple repairs, such as installing a recoil starter.
Jono & Johno will determine whether a fault is classified as minor.
If unsure about a repair, contact us, and we’ll assist you.

Major faults caused by the manufacturer

Jono & Johno will arrange a return, refund, or replacement at our expense.
If preferred (and at our discretion), we may provide replacement parts and contribute to labour costs if you can perform the repair.

Major faults caused by the user

Where possible, parts will be supplied at the user's expense.
If the item cannot be repaired by the user, we offer repairs at our workshop at $80 AUD per hour.
The customer will need to cover return shipping costs for user-related faults.

RETURN PROCESS & SHIPPING COSTS

If you need to return your product:

In-store return: If you're near a Jono & Johno outlet, you can return the product in person. Contact us first to arrange a return authority.
Shipping return: If you are not within driving distance, we will provide a return address.
- If the fault is due to a manufacturer defect, we’ll cover return costs.
- If the fault is user-related, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE

Some products are not covered by warranty, including:

Engines used in go-karts and stump grinders

OUT-OF-WARRANTY PRODUCTS

If your product is out of warranty and has failed despite minimal use, contact us. We may assess it on a case-by-case basis. If a manufacturer defect is identified, we aim to be fair in resolving the issue—but this is at our discretion.
