Tsumura bar uses salt bath heat treatment, combined with advanced technology, to achieve the perfect steel with the ideal toughness and hardness. Unlike most manufacturing setups, where steel is processed at over 800°C instantly, Tsumura’s salt bath provides a gradual, steady heating method. This makes their signature hardened steel, known for being robust, stable and less distorted.
A Range of Amazing Tsumura Products
The Jono & Johno Tsumura range includes the two most popular types of Tsumura’s solid guide bars: a replaceable sprocket nose, such as the Tsumura chainsaw bar 36, and a hard nose. These solid guide bars are manufactured from a single plate of extremely hard alloy steel, SKS-51.
We also have Tsumura lightweight bars, which have dove-tailed notches staggered and cut into the bar’s surface and packed with hard resin. This reduces the guide bar’s weight by about 20%, improving your cutting efficiency and stability and reducing user fatigue as well.
