Husqvarna 362 365 371 372 Big Bore 52mm Piston Ring Set

Piston ring set for Husqvarna 362 365 371 372 372XP big bore chainsaws — 52mm x 1.2mm, two rings.

Rings wear out long before the piston does. A fresh set restores lost compression and brings a tired saw back to life, at a fraction of the cost of a full top end rebuild.

This is the same ring supplied in our Husqvarna 362 365 371 372 52mm big bore piston and cylinder kit, available here on its own. You get two per set.

Specifications:

Spec	Detail
Diameter	52mm
Thickness	1.2mm
Quantity	2 rings
Type	Aftermarket replacement part

Suits Husqvarna:

362 - 365 - 371 - 372 - 372XP fitted with a 52mm big bore cylinder

Fits both round port and square port cylinders — the port shape doesn't affect the ring. Does not fit X-Torq engines.

Check your bore before ordering. A standard 362, 365, 371 or 372 is 50mm and takes a 50mm ring, not this one. This set is for saws already converted to a 52mm big bore cylinder. If you're not sure, measure across the top of the cylinder, or count on replacing the piston as well.

What you get:

2x piston rings

The big bore piston runs a single ring, so the second is a spare for next time.

Piston, gudgeon pin and circlips are not included. If you need the complete piston, see our Husqvarna 372 52mm big bore piston kit. For a full top end, see our 52mm big bore piston and cylinder assembly kit for the Husqvarna 362 365 371 372.

Fitting tip:

Two-stroke rings sit over a locating pin in the piston groove that stops the ring rotating into a port. Make sure the ring gap seats either side of that pin before sliding the piston into the cylinder — forcing it in misaligned will break the ring.
