⚠️ Important Compatibility & Fitment Notes

Cordless / Electronic Brake Users
This 4.5" head is a high-mass unit. On high-torque cordless trimmers with automatic electronic braking (such as Makita DUX-series / DUR-series or Milwaukee FUEL tools), the momentum of the head can sometimes cause the line to retract during spin-down (trigger release).
This is not a fault with the head, but a result of rapid electronic braking.
Feathering the trigger reduces this effect.

M12 Bolt Warning
This kit will not fit large-frame professional trimmers that require an M12 bolt, including:
Stihl FS131, FS240, FS311
Husqvarna 545RXT

Straight Shaft Only
Designed for straight-shaft trimmers only.
Will not fit curved/bent-shaft models or machines with fixed or non-removable factory heads.

The exact warranty coverage depends on two factors:

Whether the fault is due to user error or a manufacturer defect

Whether the fault is minor or major

Minor faults caused by the user

Parts will be supplied for repair at the user's expense.

Minor faults caused by the manufacturer

Customers are expected to perform basic repairs as part of our warranty process.

Jono & Johno will provide replacement parts and instructions for simple repairs, such as installing a recoil starter.

Jono & Johno will determine whether a fault is classified as minor.

If unsure about a repair, contact us, and we’ll assist you.

Major faults caused by the manufacturer

Jono & Johno will arrange a return, refund, or replacement at our expense.

If preferred (and at our discretion), we may provide replacement parts and contribute to labour costs if you can perform the repair.

Major faults caused by the user

Where possible, parts will be supplied at the user's expense.

If the item cannot be repaired by the user, we offer repairs at our workshop at $80 AUD per hour.

The customer will need to cover return shipping costs for user-related faults.

If you need to return your product:

In-store return: If you're near a Jono & Johno outlet, you can return the product in person. Contact us first to arrange a return authority.

Shipping return: If you are not within driving distance, we will provide a return address.

If the fault is due to a manufacturer defect, we’ll cover return costs.
If the fault is user-related, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
