Chainsaw Tool Accessory Kit

Are you getting started with your first chainsaw? Or do you already have a chainsaw and are looking for a few accessories to help you use and maintain your saw?

This Chainsaw Tool Accessory Kit comes with two of the most common size wedges (one 5.5" and one 8" wedge), a stump vice (for mounting your saw so you can service it out in the field), a bar dresser (for re-dressing your chainsaw bar rails) and a pocket tool kit (with 13 tools and carry pouch).

The Chainsaw Tool Kit is a hand tool that has an amazing 13 tools in it to allow the user to work on a chainsaw in the field. The tool easily fits in your pocket (5" long) and contains a large screwdriver for bar adjustment, a 5mm Star Bit, a small screwdriver (for fuel and bar oil adjustment), a 4mm Allen Wrench (for work on Echo and Husqvarna saws), Bar Groove Cleaner, a Wheel and Stone gauge (to check the thickness of grinding wheels and stones), 17mm, 13mm and 10mm Hex bolt tools,17mm Socket, and has a 13mm (1/2”) socket that will fit a bar nut on a half or full wrap handle Husqvarna saw. It also has a 19mm deep socket that is a reversible 16mm socket for the spark plug on all saws and a bar nut on a Stihl saw. It comes with a nylon sheath/pouch so you can hang it on your belt and take it with you.

The 5.5” wedge is 25mm thick at its thickest point.

WARRANTY OVERVIEW

Jono & Johno offers a 12-month warranty on most products.

We pride ourselves on selling good quality gear and will be fair and prompt in honouring our warranties. If you’re in trouble, we’ll help you out.

WHAT IS COVERED?

The exact warranty coverage depends on two factors:

Whether the fault is due to user error or a manufacturer defect
Whether the fault is minor or major

Minor faults caused by the user

Parts will be supplied for repair at the user's expense.

Minor faults caused by the manufacturer

Customers are expected to perform basic repairs as part of our warranty process.
Jono & Johno will provide replacement parts and instructions for simple repairs, such as installing a recoil starter.
Jono & Johno will determine whether a fault is classified as minor.
If unsure about a repair, contact us, and we’ll assist you.

Major faults caused by the manufacturer

Jono & Johno will arrange a return, refund, or replacement at our expense.
If preferred (and at our discretion), we may provide replacement parts and contribute to labour costs if you can perform the repair.

Major faults caused by the user

Where possible, parts will be supplied at the user's expense.
If the item cannot be repaired by the user, we offer repairs at our workshop at $80 AUD per hour.
The customer will need to cover return shipping costs for user-related faults.

RETURN PROCESS & SHIPPING COSTS

If you need to return your product:

In-store return: If you're near a Jono & Johno outlet, you can return the product in person. Contact us first to arrange a return authority.
Shipping return: If you are not within driving distance, we will provide a return address.
- If the fault is due to a manufacturer defect, we’ll cover return costs.
- If the fault is user-related, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE

Some products are not covered by warranty, including:

Engines used in go-karts and stump grinders

OUT-OF-WARRANTY PRODUCTS

If your product is out of warranty and has failed despite minimal use, contact us. We may assess it on a case-by-case basis. If a manufacturer defect is identified, we aim to be fair in resolving the issue—but this is at our discretion.
