- Chainsaw Bar Length - The bar length typically describes the chainsaw but it isn’t the measurement of the full bar. The bar length is just the portion from its tip to the portion where the bar meets its chainsaw case. - Drive Lugs - Sometimes called the drive links, the drive lugs are the bottom part of a chainsaw.
