This Jono & Johno 7.2kw generator is one of the most versatile generators on the market. It is driven by a 18hp Jono & Johno engine, and equipped with two 240v outlets and one three phase 415v outlet.

The 240v outlets are suitable to run your electronic devices as the generator is equipped with an automatic voltage regulator.

This includes laptops and mobile phones.

The 240v outlets have a maximum output of 3.6kw from each socket. You can run two sockets simultaneously to generate 7.2kw however the maximum from each socket is 3.6kw.

It has 12v terminals if you wish to run any 12v equipment.

There is a switch to change from 240v to 415v ensuring your generator is protected from overload.

It is also equipped with a circuit breaker which provides a secondary failsafe from overload.

Please note that this generator does NOT have a M.E.N. link (Multiple Earthed Neutral). This is not pure sine wave.

We are often asked if our generators are powerful enough to run certain size electric motors. The only way we can advise on this with certainty is if you know how many Watts your motor will draw on start up and whilst running.

If you don’t have this information then the chart below can be used as a guide on the average draw that an electric motor will require. This is strictly to be used as a guide only. We cannot guarantee that these figures will convert directly to your electric motor, though they do hold true for most motors.
