Jono & Johno are here for your safety - here we provide protective leg garments designed to reduce the risk of severity of injury to the body parts covered by pads, should they come in contact with a chain saw.

Our Chaps are designed to protect the entire leg in the most commonly injured areas. These chaps have four layers of polyester and two layers of protective cotton, yet they are lighter weight than other chaps. It meets all the new OSHA and ANSI classifications, and they are UL approved. These have a water and oil resistant Nylon outer. All our chaps have an adjustable waist up to 46".

They are a pair of Wrap Around Apron Style UL Certified Chaps that will provide peace of mind when using rotating saws.

PLEASE NOTE: The sizing refers to the length of the chaps. The measurement is from the top of the waist to bottom of the chaps.

The waist size is adjustable.

Small: 32”/81.2cm (top of waist to bottom of chaps)

Medium: 36”/91.4cm (top of waist to bottom of chaps)

Large: 40”/101.6cm (top of waist to bottom of chaps)

The Hurricane high density polyethylene safety Helmet is designed for those working with tools including chainsaws, hedge trimmers and pole saws.The helmet features 4 point padded suspension and forehad pad for added comfort as well as adjustable headband size, removeable and adjustable mesh visor for added ventilation and padded earmuffs.

PLEASE NOTE: this helmet DOES NOT have a chin strap. It is securely held in place to the user's head via an adjustable mechanism inside the helmet. SOME ASSEMBLY MIGHT BE REQUIRED.

WARRANTY OVERVIEW

Jono & Johno offers a 12-month warranty on most products.

We pride ourselves on selling good quality gear and will be fair and prompt in honouring our warranties. If you’re in trouble, we’ll help you out.

WHAT IS COVERED?

The exact warranty coverage depends on two factors:

Whether the fault is due to user error or a manufacturer defect
Whether the fault is minor or major

Minor faults caused by the user

Parts will be supplied for repair at the user's expense.

Minor faults caused by the manufacturer

Customers are expected to perform basic repairs as part of our warranty process.
Jono & Johno will provide replacement parts and instructions for simple repairs, such as installing a recoil starter.
Jono & Johno will determine whether a fault is classified as minor.
If unsure about a repair, contact us, and we’ll assist you.

Major faults caused by the manufacturer

Jono & Johno will arrange a return, refund, or replacement at our expense.
If preferred (and at our discretion), we may provide replacement parts and contribute to labour costs if you can perform the repair.

Major faults caused by the user

Where possible, parts will be supplied at the user's expense.
If the item cannot be repaired by the user, we offer repairs at our workshop at $80 AUD per hour.
The customer will need to cover return shipping costs for user-related faults.

RETURN PROCESS & SHIPPING COSTS

If you need to return your product:

In-store return: If you're near a Jono & Johno outlet, you can return the product in person. Contact us first to arrange a return authority.
Shipping return: If you are not within driving distance, we will provide a return address.
- If the fault is due to a manufacturer defect, we’ll cover return costs.
- If the fault is user-related, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE

Some products are not covered by warranty, including:

Engines used in go-karts and stump grinders

OUT-OF-WARRANTY PRODUCTS

If your product is out of warranty and has failed despite minimal use, contact us. We may assess it on a case-by-case basis. If a manufacturer defect is identified, we aim to be fair in resolving the issue—but this is at our discretion.
